Welcome to Conspiracies with the Girls, we needed a break from Russia (and kind of aliens) so this week we're diving into Hollow Earth Theory - heard of it? Me either.
We'll start with Edmond Halley and his attempt to explain Earth’s magnetic field, then we'll trace how this centuries-old idea evolved into theories about hidden civilizations, polar entrances (shoutout the Arctics), and even a possible inner sun (much to Michael's dismay).
From ancient myths like Shamballa to explorers like Richard E. Byrd, we'll unpack the line between science, legend, and conspiracy before asking the real question: what if aliens aren’t from space at all… but have been living here the entire time.

Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, former president of Kalmykia (Russia) and chess enthusiast, claims he was abducted by aliens from his Moscow apartment in 1997. One of the only alien abduction claims ever made by a sitting political leader.
In this episode, we break down his account of being taken aboard a spacecraft by humanoid beings in yellow (track) suits.
Was it a genuine extraterrestrial experience, a dream, or something else entirely.

In this episode of Aliens with the Girls, we head to Dalnegorsk, Russia - though by listening to the way we pronounce it you would have never guested. Regardless, it's home to one of the most mysterious UFO incidents ever recorded, often referred to as “Russia’s Roswell.”
On January 29, 1986, witnesses watched a glowing red sphere fly silently over the remote Soviet town before crashing into a hillside on the outskirts of town. Civilian investigator Yuri Golubev examined the site and uncovered strange physical evidence, including metallic droplets fused into rock, glassy residue, and microscopic mesh structures unlike any known technology. Laboratory analysis revealed unusually pure metals with properties that puzzled scientists and offered no clear explanation.
With no identifiable aircraft debris and no official answers, the Dalnegorsk crash remains one of the Cold War’s most compelling unexplained aerial phenomena. Was this advanced military tech, a natural anomaly, or something not of this world? The girls investigate.

It's officially season 3 of AWTG!! And this season, we're in mother Russia.
Last week we had Michael host, and this week Sid's bestie CC is joining us to share her thoughts on everything Aliens.
We're kicking the season off with a chaotic, unserious, historically spooky dive into Russia’s first well documented, and wildly under-discussed, UFO encounters; a true paranormal account recorded by 17th-century monks in northern Russia.
Using primary monastic chronicles, we explore why this early modern UFO sighting feels shockingly modern, how it parallels later alien encounters, and why Russia may be a hotspot for recurring UAP phenomena across centuries.
No politics, no sermons—just aliens, history, skepticism, and the question we always come back to: if it wasn’t natural, if it was "God"… then what the hell was it?

This week on Aliens with the Girls, Michael steps in to hosts a deep dive into the Voronezh UFO incident of 1989, one of the most shocking and openly reported alien encounters of the Cold War.
In a public park in Voronezh, Russia, multiple children and adults claimed a glowing red UFO landed, towering humanoid aliens emerged, and a young boy was briefly abducted before being returned unharmed.
Reported by Soviet state media and international outlets during the era of Glasnost, this mass UFO sighting raises unsettling questions about extraterrestrials, government transparency, and whether the incident was mass hysteria, experimental technology, or a genuine alien encounter.
FOR OUR SKIPPERS: The story begins around the 5min mark, stop complaining :)

In 1966, over 200 students, teachers, and local residents in suburban Melbourne witnessed a mysterious, disc-shaped object hovering above Westall High School before descending near a nearby park.
What followed was just as strange: police and military reportedly arrived within minutes, and students were later told in an assembly that nothing unusual had happened.
In this episode of Aliens with the Girls, we break down the Westall UFO incident, the suspicious official response, and why this case may be even more credible than the famous Ariel School sighting.
Because when the cover-up is louder than the event itself — that’s when the story really begins.

We’re back, and we're kicking things off by chatting about Amazon’s new documentary The Age of Disclosure before turning to our main story: the eerie and still-unsolved mystery of the Dyatlov Pass Incident. We'll breaks down the hikers’ final days, the bizarre evidence left behind, and why theories ranging from extraterrestrial encounters to Soviet weapons testing still leer over the mystery 66 years later.
If you’re curious about Cold War cover-ups, real-world UFO cases, or how Dyatlov fits into today’s “Age of Disclosure,” this story is the perfect place to jump back in.
